Research Description
I have applied fungi (mushrooms) in my PhD studies for the remediation of polluted water. My intention is to identify the mycorrhizal fungi in petroleum crude oil-polluted soils in certain tropical forests in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria—an oil-producing area characterized by numerous oil spillages (accidental and intentional).
