Science Associates

I am a researcher at the Slovenian Forestry Institute. I have obtained a BSc title in Biology, and a PhD in Biotechnology at the University of Ljubljana. Research fields where I work and publish include broad areas of mycology, forestry, fungal biology and genomics, fungal taxonomy and phylogeography, mycorrhiza studies, soil molecular ecology and biodiversity. I am also a co-founder of a Cooperative (national level) and running a smaller farm dedicated to cultivation of truffles.
